NUDE ARMCHAIR BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS
There is a specific intelligence to choosing a neutral for a statement form. The NUDE ARMCHAIR BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS outdoor armchair in Matte Nude is the colourway for the buyer who understands that the form itself — that wide, swept, ribbed shell; that continuous manta-ray curve from crown to seat — is the statement, and the colour’s job is to let it speak without competition. In warm greige sandstone, NUDE ARMCHAIR BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS does exactly that. It belongs in every outdoor context simultaneously, asks nothing of the palette around it, and delivers precisely as much presence as the space requires — never more, never less.
Designed by Rachel & Benoît Convers and manufactured in France, NUDE ARMCHAIR BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERSis a wide, dramatically curved shell seat built from densely spaced parallel High Pressure Laminate slats — dozens of precisely cut fins sweeping continuously from the wide-shouldered crown through the cupped seat and into the reclined backrest in a ribbed form that evokes the body of a manta ray at full extension. In Matte Nude, the slatted construction layers the neutral with quiet tonal depth — the shadow lines between slats read as a slightly deeper warm brown against the sandstone surface, giving the chair a dimensional texture that shifts as the light moves across it through the day. In morning light it reads as warm and sandy. Under overcast northern light it reads as refined greige. At golden hour it warms toward honey. The colour is never the same twice, which is what makes a neutral this considered different from a neutral that simply gave up.
The shell is carried on four angled legs in the same matte nude chair HPL, cross-braced at the base with the same structural confidence and total material consistency throughout. Against any background — pale limestone, warm timber decking, pale gravel, white-rendered walls, or open sky — NUDE ARMCHAIR BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS lands without friction and elevates without effort.
High Pressure Laminate construction means genuine outdoor performance: fully water resistant, heat resistant, and UV stable through every season, maintaining its warm sandstone-greige finish without the yellowing, bleaching, or surface decay that natural materials in pale tones concede to extended sun and moisture exposure. At 10kg, it repositions easily while feeling, once placed, like a decision that required no further thought.
NUDE ARMCHAIR BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS is the outdoor chair for the terrace that already has its palette figured out, and the one that hasn’t started yet. It is the armchair that interior furniture designers order when they need to be absolutely certain, and the one that confident buyers choose when they want to stop thinking about chairs and start thinking about everything else.
Made in France. Finished in the colour of considered restraint.

If you want a statement chair that works with literally everything — this warm beige slatted design is it. It’s neutral enough to blend but striking enough to wow. The sculptural silhouette is so architecturally interesting. Mine lives in my living room and it ties the whole space together beautifully. Excellent craftsmanship, solid build, and incredibly chic. Highly recommend!
