Designed by Rachel & Benoît Convers and manufactured in France, GREEN ARMCHAIR BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERSis a wide, dramatically curved shell seat built from densely spaced parallel High Pressure Laminate slats — dozens of precisely cut fins rippling across the surface in a continuous ribbed pattern that evokes the body of a manta ray, the cross-section of an architectural vault, or the hull of something that arrived from a different discipline entirely. In Matte Deep Green, every slat reads with the depth and shadow that the brushed black version approaches differently — where black is graphic and high-contrast, deep green is rich and dimensional, the gaps between slats catching shadow in a way that makes the surface texture visible from across a garden.

The shell curves continuously from wide shoulder to cupped seat to sweeping backrest, holding the body in a low, reclined position that manages to be both supremely comfortable and visually flat — the kind of chair that photographs well empty and feels even better occupied. Four angled legs in the same matte deep green HPL carry the shell with architectural confidence, cross-braced at the base for stability on stone, timber decking, or any level outdoor surface.
