PH5 SPUN TIERED THREE SHADE METAL PENDANT LIGHT GREY
PH5 Spun Tiered Three Shade Metal Pendant Light grey is the 1958 design by Danish architect Poul Henningsen, conceived to tame the glare of incandescent bulbs. Three stacked shades, formed by metal spinning, push light downward and sideways for a soft, even glow with the bulb kept out of sight. Among mid century style lamps, few have stayed in production this long.
The grey edition hangs from a white fabric cord and is hardwired, with a mounting plate supplied and professional installation advised. It accepts a dimmer and can be mounted on a sloped ceiling. The single socket takes a type A21 bulb at 22 watts maximum. Offered at 30% off in our lamp sale, it comes as a set of 1 or a set of 2 for matched pairs.
