PH5 SPUN TIERED THREE SHADE METAL PENDANT LIGHT COPPER
PH5 Spun Tiered Three Shade Metal Pendant Light copper brings a warm metallic tone to Poul Henningsen’s most enduring idea. In 1958, Henningsen set out to solve the glare of the bare incandescent bulb; his answer was three tiered shades that send light downward and outward while hiding the source. It remains one of the most widely known mid century style lamps, still produced by Louis Poulsen.
The shades are formed by metal spinning, and the copper finish lends warmth to the diffused light. The fixture is hardwired with its mounting plate included; a professional installer is recommended. It works on a dimmer, suits sloped ceilings, and takes a type A21 bulb at 22 watts maximum. A white fabric cord runs 12 feet, enough to set the drop above a dining table or seating area.
