The VASE PIGNA BLUE  honours that tradition in the most tactile, visually arresting way possible: every surface of this extraordinary Italian-made ceramic vessel is encrusted with row upon row of raised pinecone scales, each one individually formed and glazed in a deep, luminous cobalt blue that shifts from midnight to electric depending on the light.

The bowl form itself is generously proportioned — wide-mouthed and open — sitting atop a sturdy ceramic pedestal foot that transitions beautifully from the rich cobalt body to a hand-painted white base border adorned with delicate green botanical and leaf motifs in the traditional Sicilian ceramic style. It is this contrast — bold cobalt drama above, refined artisan detail below — that gives Pigna its remarkable sense of balance.
