About the Starling Sculpture

Lladró’s craftspeople focused on the starling’s distinctive iridescent plumage, rendering each feather with fine ornamentation across four distinct finishes: matte, gloss, gold, and platinum luster. In this black and gold colorway, the deep single-color tone enriches every individual feather across the birds’ bodies, while gold accents introduce warmth and contrast to the composition as a whole. The surface shifts in visual quality as light moves across it — understated at a glance, intricate on closer inspection.

The figurine measures 5.512 in tall and 7.48 in wide, giving it a distinct horizontal presence that anchors a shelf or console table without overpowering the surrounding decor.
