RED OSTRICH WALL LAMP

The RED OSTRICH WALL LAMP is the most interior-defining colourway in the range — and the most quietly dramatic. Not the brightness of Terracotta, not the graphic neutrality of Blanc, not the earthy restraint of green. This is a deep, wine-dark red that pulls from the palette of aged Bordeaux and oxblood leather, a colour with centuries of cultural weight that arrives in a flat-cut HPL ostrich silhouette and somehow makes perfect, total sense.

Designed by Rachel & Benoît Convers and manufactured in France, RED OSTRICH WALL LAMPis an ostrich in full silhouette — head dropped forward, feathers fanning wide in laser-cut precision, long legs grounded at the floor with the unhurried composure of a form that has nothing to prove. The body becomes the console shelf at 92cm, practical and usable and finished in the same deep Bordeaux throughout — no interruption, no contrast, no apology. The RED OSTRICH WALL LAMP rises from the shelf on a slim pole, its dark anthracite shade sitting above the composition like a full stop at the end of a sentence that needed no revision.

Against a cream or warm-white wall — as here — the RED OSTRICH WALL LAMPsilhouette creates a shadow effect that reads as almost three-dimensional: the flat HPL and its cast shadow merging into a depth the material technically doesn’t have. Lit in evening light, the wine red absorbs and reflects warmth in equal measure, deepening toward plum at its darkest edges and glowing almost amber where the lamp light falls closest.
