The familiar rounded body, clothed from base to neck in its signature raised overlapping shell scales in Art Deco arrangement, is here glazed in a striking electric teal — a saturated, high-voltage blue-green that sits somewhere between the clarity of a swimming pool at noon and the iridescence of a kingfisher in flight. The mirror-polished gloss finish amplifies the colour to its absolute maximum: light ricochets off each raised scale crest with intense brilliance, while pooling in the ribbed hollows in a deeper, more saturated shade that adds remarkable three-dimensional visual depth to the already powerfully sculptural surface.
