Designed by Elena Trevisan and crafted in handmade porcelain, the Coquille’s generous rounded body is enveloped in its signature composition of raised, overlapping shell scales in Art Deco formation. In matte white, the surface reads as carved plaster or polished marble — a tone-on-tone study in pure light and shadow. Without gloss or metallic finish, the eye is guided entirely by the interplay between each scale’s concave hollow and convex crest, the pale bisque ground catching the softest gradients of ambient light in a finish that feels simultaneously minimal and profoundly textured.
