This two-tone mosaic composition is assembled by designer Michela Nardin herself, tile by tile, using spizzi sourced exclusively from the historic Orsoni factory in Venice — one of the world’s oldest and most revered producers of gold and colored smalti glass. Each of the 1,450 tiles is individually placed, and because the process is entirely hand-assembled, no two Alba tables share the same exact tile configuration.
