Every element of PER EGEO SCULPTURE BY ALESSANDRO RAMETTA is forged entirely by hand. The copper is embossed, calendared, plasma-cut, and polished through a freehand sculptural process that Rametta has refined across a lifetime of working metal as art. The result is a surface of mirror-like luminosity — warm rose-copper tones that shift and deepen with every change in surrounding light, the natural reflectivity of the metal giving each leaf a life-like quality that no casting process could replicate. One leaf rests on the square base below, as though recently fallen — a detail of quiet naturalistic poetry that anchors the composition with perfect completeness. The entire piece is finished with thermosetting powder for enduring surface protection.
