JACK GOLD FRUIT TABLE LAMP BY CAMPANA BROTHERS
The JACK GOLD FRUIT TABLE LAMP BY CAMPANA BROTHERS design legends Fernando and Humberto Campana is a masterclass in finding sculpture within natural inspiration. Named after and directly modelled on the jackfruit — the spiky tropical fruit that grows wild across South America and Southeast Asia — the deco art lamp sale translates nature’s geometry into precision-cut polished brass with striking results.
Two cylindrical brass forms define the composition: a narrower cylindrical stem rising from a flat circular foot, and a wider cylindrical shade that sits atop it in an overlapping relationship that mimics the layered architecture of the fruit itself. Both surfaces are densely perforated with elongated teardrop-shaped cut-outs arranged in vertical columns — each slit cleanly punched and rounded at its lower end, evoking both the fruit’s textured skin and leaves caught mid-flutter in a tropical wind.
When illuminated, light escapes through every cut-out simultaneously, projecting an intricate pattern of golden light and elongated shadows across surrounding walls and ceiling — a secondary layer of decoration that one of the gold table lamps creates in the room around it. The warm polished brass finish ensures the piece reads as richly luxurious even unlit, making it equally effective as a decorative object and functional light source.
An LED bulb is included. Contract and commercial certifications are available upon request.
