Hobo Drunk Man Leaning Sculptural Table Lamp
There are lamps that light a room, and then there are lamps that tell a story the moment you lay eyes on them. Hobo Drunk Man Leaning Sculptural Table Lamp Street Light Vintage Bar Lamp is unquestionably the latter — a wonderfully characterful piece of mid-century Americana that has been charming bar owners, collectors, and novelty lamp enthusiasts for decades.
The ceramic base depicts a hobo — that quintessential figure of American Depression-era folk humour — leaning against a lamp post in that unmistakably unsteady way, his posture frozen in a moment of comedic, timeless irreverence. Topped with a matching plastic globe shade that diffuses light in a warm, retro glow, this lamp is in good working and cosmetic condition — a genuine vintage survivor ready to earn its place back in a bar, man cave, office, or eclectic home setting. Standing 11 inches tall, it is perfectly sized for a bar counter, sideboard, desk, or shelf display.
Sourced by Retrobot Vintage & Antiques, this is a one-of-a-kind vintage piece — and as one happy buyer already confirmed, it goes great in a bar. Whether you’re drawn to mid century style lamps, novelty lamps with genuine retro personality, or simply can’t resist a deco art lamp with a sense of humour, this piece delivers warmth, character, and conversation in equal measure.

This mid-century bar novelty lamp is a genuinely delightful find. The hand-painted ceramic drunk gentleman in top hat and tails clinging to his cast iron lamppost is wonderfully characterful. The frosted globe with its classic retro bar graphic adds authentic period charm. It creates warm, convivial atmosphere perfect for a home bar or games room. A charming and collectible vintage treasure.

This bar lamp is the most fun, personality-packed piece I own. The little tipsy gentleman clinging to the lamppost is SO charmingly hilarious, and the frosted globe glows so warmly when lit. It lives on my home bar and sets the absolute perfect mood for entertaining. Guests laugh and love it every single time without fail. Packaged really securely. Best purchase of the year!
