This CRAB SCULPTURE RED marks the bold debut of the Kings of the Sea collection — a series dedicated to celebrating the remarkable and varied creatures found in the ocean’s depths. Sculpted by José Luis Santes and launched in 2023, it renders the crab in full defiant posture: powerful, alert, and unmistakably regal. Its gloss red finish deepens the natural drama of a form designed to command any shelf, cabinet, or display surface it inhabits.

About the Kings of the Sea CRAB SCULPTURE RED

This CRAB SCULPTURE RED measures 11.024 in wide, 11.024 in deep, and 5.512 in tall — dimensions that give it genuine presence without dominating a surface. At 2.49 lb, the piece carries the satisfying weight of a serious collectible. The high-gloss finish is applied across every pincer, leg, and shell contour, catching light from every angle and making the silhouette as vivid from across a room as it is on close inspection.

José Luis Santes shaped the Kings of the Sea collection around one idea: the creatures of the ocean floor deserve the same authority given to lions and eagles. The crab, along with its companion piece Lobster — Blue, forms the founding pair of that world. The bright red used in the decoration is not incidental — it amplifies the crab’s naturally assertive profile and ensures the figurine reads as an intentional centerpiece rather than a background accessory.

How to Style the CRAB SCULPTURE RED

Position the CRAB SCULPTURE RED on a sideboard, console table, or low cabinet where the 11 in width can be fully appreciated without obstruction. It settles naturally into coastal and nautical interiors but holds equally well in eclectic, maximalist, or art-forward spaces where sculptural form matters more than decorative theme. Place it alongside the Kings of the Sea Lobster — Blue for the visual impact the collection was designed to deliver — both pieces share the same sculptural vocabulary and complement each other directly.
