As a light blue lamp, it brings a cooler, calmer tone than the more common amber or cream Tiffany-style pieces.

The fixture takes an incandescent bulb up to 60 watts through a standard E26 base, though LED and CFL bulbs work as well; an Edison-style LED is the recommended match for the fullest color from the glass.
