Each piece is a composition in two extraordinary acts. Below, a cylindrical white porcelain column is hand-painted in a refined chinoiserie style — exotic blue and green birds perch among flowering branches and delicate botanicals rendered in soft terracotta, coral, and sage. Gold bronze collar mounts frame the column at both crown and base, lending the transition between porcelain and bronze a jewellery-like precision.

Above, a finely cast gold bronze cherub sits astride a magnificent winged swan, one arm raised triumphantly, the other steadying a sweeping three-arm candelabra of twisting branches that terminates in three ornate acanthus leaf candle cups — each one detailed with layered petals and classical fluted rims.

The result is a piece of extraordinary compositional richness — sculptural, painterly, and deeply considered — equally at home on a formal dining table, a grand mantelpiece, or a luxury console. Sold individually, they are most powerful in pairs.
