Art Deco Dancing Woman Holding a Sphere
Step back into the golden glamour of the Art Deco era with this mesmerising figural accent lamp — the Art Deco Dancing Woman Holding a Sphere Backlit by The Moon Matte Black Circa 1980’s. A true collector’s statement piece, this novelty lamp depicts an elegantly posed female figure in a matte black resin finish, cradling a clear lucite sphere that glows luminously against a frosted glass moon disk when lit. The result is a hauntingly beautiful moonlight lamp effect that transforms any room into an atmospheric sanctuary.
Crafted in the revered tradition of Art Deco design — the 1920s–1940s movement celebrated for its bold geometric forms, rich ornamentation, and elegant figural motifs — this piece channels that same sophisticated drama in a vintage 1980s reinterpretation. The matte black silhouette against the softly illuminated frosted glass disk creates a striking visual contrast that doubles as a deco art lamp and a sculptural table lamp of genuine artistic merit.
Standing 16″ H x 8.5″ W x 6″ D, this is a commanding yet graceful presence on a side table, bookshelf, entryway console, or mantle. The lamp accepts up to a 25W incandescent bulb, or can be used with an LED bulb for increased brightness and energy efficiency.

She sits poised at the edge of night — matte black, elongated, impossibly graceful — cradling a crystal orb before a full moon of frosted glass. Light halos her silhouette from behind, casting her in mystery. This lamp doesn’t illuminate a room so much as enchant it, pulling every glance back to her quiet, timeless power.

This Art Deco lamp is everything. The matte black silhouette figure holding a crystal ball in front of that frosted globe is pure 1930s glamour perfection.
